Y3 dissertation

My dissertation is going to explore creating a C++ library to generate specific meshes, which can then be used by multiple mediums and integrate with Unreal Engine. I will properly start this in September.

Octopie - Y2 group project

This is my second year group project. I was the sole programmer in this project. My job involved creating the player controllers as well as designing and implementing the systems within the game that allow players to interact with the world and quests. These were designed to integrate with Unreal's Blueprint editor, as such I could offload the small changes between items to the others in the team to change in blueprints. I also worked closely with our animator to create the dynamic octopus, in which the limbs seamlessly change between being simulated and animated. Also sort many git issues.

Escape of the Nuclear Hamster - Y1 Team Project

First year team game. Unity. We created a puzzle game in a Portal-style environment with a focus on using lasers for puzzles. My role was to create the laser mechanics system and how players interacted with the world. I took the role of Scrum Master within this project as well as mentoring the other 2 programmers who were less experienced with Unity.
